On The Community Tourism Development In Ancient Towns

The ancient town community is faced with opportunities and challenges with the development of tourism.The traditional culture needs to be preserved and community tourism needs to be strengthened.During the process of development of the ancient town,the residents have been marginalized.The historical and cultural traditions should be inherited and the living standard of the residents should be improved.In order to carry out the new strategy of the urbanization,It is of far-reaching practical significance to do a good job of community tourism development in ancient towns.The town community as the research object,using empirical analysis to the ancient town tourism development community launched a series of detailed analysis and research,through summing up the problem,learn from the successful experience,put forward the improvement suggestions and corresponding development strategies for the town community tourism development.This paper mainly adopts the methodologies of literature research,field investigation,interview,questionnaire and case analysis.First of all,the relevant literature of tourism in ancient town and community at home and abroad are reviewed,and the concepts of community,community tourism and ancient town community tourism are defined.Secondly,based on the theory of the community tourism integration,sustainable development and community empowerment theory,the thesis attempts to study the meaning,characteristics,principles and modes of development etc.Next,Yongning Town community are chosen as a case and its general situation and community construction are introduced.The advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges,developments of the tourism in ancient towns are analyzed by means of SWOT,meanwhile the necessity and feasibility are summed up.And through the analysis of community interviews and questionnaires,this paper analyzes the residents’ perception of community tourism development and the problems it poses.Finally,the measures for the development of community tourism are put forward.That is,the development of the ancient town community tourism should not sacrifice its original style.Traditional culture should be inherited,community landscape should be beautified,and tourist image and brand should be established.The ancient town communities should spare no efforts to participate in the development of tourism,to enhance the local economic,social and environmental benefits,guide the ancient town tourism and take the road of sustainable development.
