Characteristic Analysis Of Industrial Structure In Wuhan City Circle Based On Shift Share Method

Since the reform and opening up,China's economic developed rapidly.In 2016,China's GDP exceeded 70 trillion in which the proportion of the primary industry,the second industry,and the tertiary industry accounted for 8.56%,39.81%,51.63%,showing that the tertiary industry was the highest proportion of China's economic.In addition,the rate of China's Urbanization had reached57.35%,it showed that China had entered the middle stage of industrialization.With China's population aging,highlighting the problems of middle-income trap,China's economic development had entered a new norm.In the face of increasingly differentiated structural economy,China should actively change the way of development to further optimize the supply side mechanism,adjustment and upgrading the industrial structure,promote economic development to sustained stable growth.In recent years,with the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Zone to Upgrade Demonstration Zone,Wuhan City Economic Circle industry developed rapidly,as industrial structure had been adjusted,the layout was more reasonable.However,some problems appeared in the process of the development of Wuhan City Circle,such as the high proportion of the second industry,the serious excess capacity,hindered the coordinated development of the economy.Therefore,the research of economic growth and industrial structure adjustment of Wuhan City Circle could optimize the internal structure of Wuhan City Circle.Based on the Shift Share Model,this paper takes Wuhan City Circle as the research object,and divided into six chapters: Chapter 1,Introduction.This paper introduces the research background and the significance of the topic,and makes a further study on the research methods and research ideas of this paper.Chapter 2,Literature Review.This paper describes the research status and development trend of domestic and foreign research on urban circle research,industrial structure and Shift Share Analysis.Chapter3,Overview of Research Theory.This paper expounds the meaning of economic growth and puts forward the relevant theoretical basis of the study,including classical economic growth theory and modern economic growth theory,and expounds the concept of industrial structure,industrial classification method,industrial structure change trend and industrial structure theory,including Industrial layout theory of comparative advantage,regional industrial layout theory and industrial structure evolution theory,elaborated the deviation-share model of the establishment,calculation and analysis of the results.Chapter 4,the present situation of the industrial structure of Wuhan City Circle is analyzed,and the industrial structure of Wuhan City Circle is analyzed comprehensively.The characteristics of the industrial structure of Wuhan metropolitan area are summarized as the obstacles and influencing factors in the process of industrial structure evolution are analyzed.Chapter 5,Analysis of the Industrial Structure of Wuhan City Circle-Shift Share Method.Firstly,the paper analyzes the three industrial structures in the nine cities of Wuhan City Circle by using the Shift Share Model,analyzes its industrial growth rate,the contribution of the total economy and the competitiveness,then analyzes the overall industrial structure of Wuhan City Circle.Finally,compare the industrial structure of Hubei Province with Wuhan City Circle,and draw the relevant conclusions.Chapter 6,adjustments and suggestions.Through the analysis of this paper,we can aware that under the background of structural reform of the supply side,the industrial structure of Wuhan City Circle primary and secondary industries' contribution to the economy growth gradually reduce,competitiveness is also weakened obviously.On the contrary,proportion of the tertiary industry in the economy is rising steadily,development faster.In general,Wuhan City Circle industrial structure still have larger space to adjust.We should strive to optimize the structure of Wuhan City Circle industrial structure layout,take full advantage of each city industry comparative advantage,promote the coordinated development to promote the development of Wuhan City Circle economic.
