At present,with the advancement of China's health care reform,drug retail industry has been developing by leaps and bounds,especially the chain of pharmaceutical companies.Industry competition is becoming increasingly fierce,and many business managers begin to improve the level of performance management to maintain a competitive advantage.As a new performance evaluation model,Balanced Score Card(BSC)comes into the vision of China's business managers and researchers.During the process of rapid expansion of the development,Chain retail pharmaceutical enterprises realize that it is difficult to manage numerous chain stores without the scientific and effective performance management and performance evaluation methods.What the chain of retail pharmaceutical companies immensely are concerning about is how to establish a scientific performance evaluation index system,the effective implementation of performance evaluation and continuous improvement of chain store performance level.This thesis describes the background of the research on the performance evaluation of chain retail pharmaceutical companies,elaborates researches of the status quo at home and abroad,and introduces related theories,such as performance,performance management,performance evaluation,performance evaluation index,balanced score card and etc..This thesis strives to explore the status quo and establishment of index performance of retail chain drug companies via the form of questionnaires and interviews,and find out the causes of various problems existing in performance evaluation.Based of the above research and combined with the facts and characteristics of the chain retailing pharmaceutical enterprises,the author focuses on building a performance evaluation index system of chain retail pharmaceutical enterprises according to the four dimensions and the key performance index method(KPI)of the Balanced Score card.The index system is divided into three layers.The first is to establish the first-class evaluation index through decomposition of the enterprise strategy and four dimensions which contain the financial dimension,internal business process dimension,customer dimension,learning and growth dimension.The second is to been refined into 11 second-class indexes.The third is to accomplish 34 third-class indexes related to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the enterprise.This thesis attempts to establish the weights of each index by using AHP.Finally,this thesis tries to survey the performance evaluation practice in one month of the three chainstores of Spark and verify the actual operability of the performance evaluation index system by means of the newly constructed performance evaluation index system and Topsis analysis method.The main contributions of this thesis are to explain the present existing problems and the causes in the old performance evaluation system and index design of retail enterprises,construct a scientific and operational performance evaluation index system combining the actual situation and strategic objectives of the research object,and figure out the internal business process which is the most important index of the chain of retail pharmaceutical performance evaluation.This thesis provides a practical reference for other chain retail enterprises in establishing and improving the performance evaluation index system and implementing the performance evaluation of chain stores.
