With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization,transnational business has become a common phenomenon in today’s world economy,and also the intercultural communication has become an important issue in the management of foreign enterprises in China.Siemens Shenzhen branch as a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Germany Headquarters,there are nearly 30% foreign employees in this company.So in daily business life,it is inevitable that there will be barriers about cross-cultural communication with local staff,resulting frequent obstacles within company,the low efficiency,cohesion and enthusiasm between enterprise organization.These problems all urgently need the management’s attention and solve ways,and if management can find out the ways of overcome the intercultural communication barriers to reduce the related problem,would related to the sustainable development of and advancement of enterprises.Siemens Shenzhen branch as the research object,this paper combined with relevant literaturereview and theoretical review,deeply analyze the existing intercultural communication problem in company and gives the conclusions and countermeasures.First of all,through literature review,this paper reviews and summarizes the related concepts and theoretical research results of intercultural communication,which lays a solid theoretical foundation for the follow-up study.Secondly,this paper describes and analyzes the typical cases of intercultural communication of Siemens Shenzhen branch.Then,through in-depth interviews,analysis of the cross-cultural communication barriers exist within the company,and based on the analysis of its causes puts forward the countermeasure suggestion.The conclusions and countermeasures of this research,not only for the future Siemens Shenzhen branch to enhance the effectiveness of cross-cultural communication has an important impact,at the same time,it can also provide some reference and reference for other similar multinational enterprises to carry out cross-cultural communication smoothly.
