| In the recent years,with the rapid development of the world economy,low-carbon economy has attracted the attention of the international community.China’s traditional trade way used to export some labor-intensive and resource-intensive products,which is high energy consumption and pollution and lack of scientific and technological content.Obviously,the traditional way can no longer meet the requirements of low-carbon economy,so the old method is indispensable to change.What’s more,Tianjin is one of the municipalities directly under the central government of China,but there still exist some problems in the export structure.For one thing,Tianjin is a coastal city,but the development of its international trade is not only far from correspondent level but also relatively backward commodity structure.For another,Tianjin’s exportation is mainly to Europe,United States,Japan,Korea and other developed countries,which accounts for more than 50% of Tianjin’s total exports.However,the other market share is less than 50%,which shows that Tianjin’s exportation is largely depend on developed countries.Moreover,Tianjin’s foreign trade in the presence of high energy consumption.As a result,Tianjin should reduce carbon emissions in various industries,following the energy-saving emission reduction targets in China,in order to contribute to China’s sustainable development.This paper mainly analyses the optimization of the export commodity structure in Tianjin under the low-carbon background.According to domestic and foreign scholars’ researches,we find the current problems,which decide on the direction of this paper.This paper mainly summarizes the background,connotation and some theory about low-carbon economy.With the analysis of the present situation of Tianjin economic development and the present situation of its exports,including its object and structure,the paper discovers the problems of the export structure in Tianjin.Furthermore,this paper analyzes the impact of low-carbon economy on the export structure of Tianjin and the requirements for the low-carbon economy,which brings up both the opportunities and the challenges.Through time series analysis method,the export trade is regarded as a very important factor of carbon emissions.In addition,the article has calculated the carbon emissions of various export industries in Tianjin,and further calculated the carbon emissions of various industries.Moreover,through the establishment of the export and carbon emissions index to the existing industry,the Tianjin city of the various export industry is divided into four major categories.These four types of industries include: high export with high emission industries,high export with low emission industries,low export with high emission industries and low export with low emission industries.Finally,the article puts forward suggestions on how to optimize the export structure of these four industries,and puts forward suggestions for the structural optimization of the overall export industry in Tianjin,including the adjustment of industrial structure,the export tax rebate,the low carbon subsidies and other policies. |
