The Study On The Influence Of China-South Korea Free Trade Area’s Establishment On The Two Countries’ Aquatic Product Trade

Sino Korea FTA’s ninth round of talks ended in January 10,2014,marking the Sino Korea FTA negotiation of aquatic products has entered a substantive stage China and Korea has frequent contacts of aquatic products trade.Aquatic products trade has been an important research field of attention both in academic circles,and Sino Korea FTA in the background of the international trade of aquatic products is the focus of much attention.Through analyzing the current situation of aquatic products trade between China and Korea,calculating related trade index and analyzing Sino Korea FTA’s aquatic negotiation process,GTAP simulation analysis.FTA has provided a valuable reference for the impact of China’s aquatic products.The main research contents include:(1)Analyze the China and Korea aquatic products import and product structure in the world market;(2)Analyze the bilateral trade scale and trade structure of aquatic products between China and Korea;(3)To estimate related trade index;(4)Korea aquatic tariff concession in Sino Korea FTA;(5)simulate the influence of Sino Korea FTA on Chinese aquatic trade.The main research conclusions are summarized like the following: 1 It’s obvious that China has the bigger imports and exports scale than Korea in terms of aquatic products.China is Korea’s main aquatic products import provenance.Likewise,China is of great significance in terms of Korea’s aquatic products export marketing.2 The foundation of Sino Korea FTA could make huge trade creation effect on aquatic products in two country.3 The foundation of Sino Korea FTA could produce certain trade diversion effect on aquatic products in two country.
