The Analysis Of Human's Urbanization Of The Nine Cities In Pearl River Delta Area

In the past time,the level of economic development of a region or city has always been measured by the degree of urbanization.In the traditional concept,the level of urbanization and the level of regional economic development are simply and positively related.However,the development of traditional urbanization has brought many disadvantages to modern economy and society.After the 18 th CPC National Congress,the concept of "new-type urbanization" has been put forward.The most important factor of the new-type urbanization that is human,and the new-type urbanization is to focus on people-oriented and sustainable development.In other words,the essence of new-type urbanization is human's urbanization.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to construct a comprehensive,scientific and reasonable index system to analyze the human's urbanization level of the Pearl River Delta and to compare the differences among these cities.Finally,to provide some corresponding policy recommendations according to the results of the analysis.This paper is divided into five chapters: The first chapter is introduction,including the research background and significance of this paper,and then summarizes the domestic and foreign literature on human's urbanization and the measurement of urbanization;The second chapter is to introduce the definition of some relevant concepts in this paper and the related theoretical foundation of the research on human's urbanization;The third chapter is the construction of the index system to measure the level of human's urbanization;The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis of human's urbanization in the Pearl River Delta;The fifth chapter including the conclusions of the study,policy recommendations and prospects for future research.In the third part of this paper,an index system of human's urbanization has been established in order to refer to the Pearl River Delta Region.This system includes 5 secondary indicators such as: human,economic,basic public services,social security,environment and 37 specific tertiary indicators.In the fourth part of this paper,apply the relevant statistical data of the 9 cities in the Pearl River Delta to the factor analysis,and draw the conclusions.Finally,we classify this cities with similarity through the cluster analysis.Based on the above empirical analysis,the fifth part finds out the problems existing in the human's urbanization of Pearl River Delta and puts forward five suggestions: Improve the industrial structure and develop the regional characteristic industry according to local conditions;To eliminate the dual structure of urban and rural,and promote the equalization of basic public service;Improve the quality of agricultural population transfer,increasing the sense of belonging to the city;Take more attention to environmental protection and more efforts to enhance the quality of human's urbanization;Promote the regional mutual cooperation with developed areas to drive backward areas.
