Quanzhou is one of China’s first 24 Historic and Culture City,the first Culture City of East Asia and the important origin of the Maritime Silk Route.A great quantity of maritime culture m onuments still looks as they did origin ally.In April 2001,the government firstly launched the applica tion for World Heritage,whose topicis Maritime Silk Route—Quanzhou Historical Si te.And it was form ally listed into the World Heritage tentative directory in 2006.In 2013,the “ One Belt One Road” strategy was raised and th e year of 2015 was nam ed “Beautiful China—Silk Route Tourism Year”.Thus,Quanzhou m eets good opportunity of developing Maritim e Silk Route tourism.With the theory of heritage corridor and PLC,using the RMP method,the corridor heritage resources,tourism market and products are s ystematically analyzed.Combing with each index of tourism economy of Quanzhou from the year of 2006,it analyzes the demand of heritage tourism market and market development situation of the local travel agency,focusing on the tourism development and tourists’ expectation –satisfaction of the 15 m ain heritage sites(There are 16 sites applying for enter ing the World Heritage List in Quanzhou.)in Quanzhou Maritime Silk Route corridor.the results are as follows:(1)The formation of Quanzhou Maritim e Silk Route corridor culture was influenced by man-nature relationship in Quanzhou’s historical period,especially the oversea exchange since Song and Yuan dynasties.The historical value is so huge that it becomes the co re content of World Cultural Herita ge,and it’s also the key attractions for Quanzhou.(2)The heritage resources in Quanz hou Maritime Silk Route corridor are abundant,but the volum e is small,the product form is relatively single,the tourist experience is insufficient and the market segmentation is imperfection.Quanzhou still did not develop into a main regional tourism destination.(3)Quanzhou can use the method of heritage corridor to protect and develop the heritage resources,develop the tourism market with proper m arketing strategy,improve tourist satisfaction,design special Maritime Silk Route tourism routes and special tourism projects.
