An Empirical Study Of The Revenue And Economic Growth Of Chongqing

Chongqing as the most "young” municipality,the economy has been growing,GDP increased from 131.512 billion yuan in 1996 to 1.571727 trillion yuan in the year of 2015.From 1996 to 2015,Fiscal revenue in Chongqing from 5.494 billion yuan grew to 215.482 billion yuan.In the past of twenty years,the local fiscal revenue of Chongqing has increased more than 39 times.Internationally,most of scholars agree that there is a significant relationship between fiscal revenue and a country's economic growth.And specific to the local fiscal revenue,how to promote local economic development,is mostly embodied in the realization of the function of local government,income distribution function,the functions of economic stability and economic development function and so on.However,we need to solve the problem in degrees,because the disharmonious relationship between the speed of economic growth and fiscal revenue growth will give a negative impact on the local government.Aiming at this situation,this article selects the local fiscal revenue of Chongqing as the research object,research the relationship between the local economic development and fiscal revenue.Firstly,this article elaborated the research background and significance,reviewed the domestic and foreign scholars have done research in this respect,puts forward the main research content of this article.Secondly,through statistical methods,to establish the regression model of fiscal revenue to GDP growth in Chongqing,and the cointegration analysis of the model,error correction model was established.Third,based on the established model,a mining deviating fiscal revenue and economic growth in Chongqing.Finally,based on the research of quantitative relation and difference factors analysis,provides advice for the harmonious development of Chongqing's financial and economic.Through the research,this paper get the main conclusions are:(1)there exists a long-term equilibrium relationship between fiscal income(Y)and GDP(X),namely,E((4)= 0.218((3).(2)Chongqing's industrial structure optimized from "231" to "321".But also exists unbalanced development between regions,imperfect tax administration,statistics caliber is not unified,evade taxes,and other issues.(3)In order to promote the coordinated development of financial income and economic growth in Chongqing,on the one hand,we have to speed up the upgrading of industrial structure,optimizing the economic structure,to create more revenue,on the other hand the government should also give full play to its functions,formulate perfect tax collection and administration system,promoting the harmonious development of regional economy,perfect the financial support policy,promote the economic growth.
