Research On Social Responsibility Evaluation Index System Of State Grid Corporation Of China

The State Grid was the first state-owned enterprise to public its report of corporate social responsibility,which attracts much social focus on its responsibility perform.And the consumers placed high expectations on State Grid's corporate social responsibility due to its special characteristics of Chinese power grid enterprises.Although the State Grid has continued to publish annual social responsibility reports since 2006,the contents of its report focus mainly on the company's annual performance and the listing of data,which is insufficient to evaluate the company's overall social responsibility performance.So,it is very necessary to establish a scientific system to evaluate the State Grid's corporate social responsibility performance level,which is to strengthen the supervision of the company as well as standardize and guide power grid industry doing better on responsibility performance.Firstly,in this paper,we studied theories and achievements on CSR at home and abroad.And combining with the characteristics of power grid enterprises,we claim six main dimensions of State Grid's CSR performance and its associated evaluation indexes and standards according to the stakeholder theory.Secondly,by using questionnaire and analytic hierarchy process,the weight of the six main stakeholders and corresponding secondary index in the entire social responsibility system is calculated,thus a social responsibility evaluation system focusing on the State Grid corporation of China is established.Finally,the evaluation index system is applied to evaluating State Grid's over years' performance.The social responsibility score we get on one hand can verifies the social responsibility evaluation index system we built,on the other hand can find the company's progresses and deficiencies and give some positive suggestions to State Grid's social responsibility performance in the future.Because of the limitation of the author's research level,this paper only takes State Grid as the research object,but research results for the future of power grid industry and the state-owned enterprises social responsibility evaluation system research has certain reference significance.
