| The welding quality was the major focus of WM Enterprise,which has successfully implemented a Six-sigma project in order to improve the quality performance based on DMAICE model for condenser product welding defect rate staying at a high level problem in WM Enterprise.First of all,condenser product project was defined,objectives and scope were cleared.In the measurement phase,the MSA and process capability were analyzed,the effectiveness of measurement system and process capability were showed.During the analysis phase,the process sequence were analyzed using tree graph,the key factor of impair condenser product quality was find out and the hypothesis test and regression analysis was used to verify the key factor whether it makes sense,according to influence degree.The key factor was distinguished between primary and secondary,and then formulate the improvement plan.In the improvement stage,the main key factor was improved by full-scale experiment method,seek the best parameter combination,the Minor key factor was improved by the method of rapid improvement;Process capability analysis method was used in the control phase,the results of improvement was monitored.Performance evaluation would be mainly from three:financial gains,organizational learning capability,Customer Satisfaction/loyalty.These methods was measured,analyzed,improved,control and ultimately condenser product welding failure rate was descend from 1565 PPM to 613 PPM;Quality level was increased from 4.45 to 4.73;Customer Satisfaction Index was ascended from 74.5 to 95.2;Project Earnings for 1551000 RMB.The empirical show that the use of Six Sigma management techniques to improve condenser product project quality is remarkable,not only the dilemma of the enterprise was solved,but also some economic benefits were brought and the ability of organization learning was improved for the company and for future quality improvement project provides experience and reference. |
