Analysis On Influence Factors Of China-Russia Trade

Since China's entry into WTO,the trade of China-Russia have a good growing trend.However,the trade volume between China and Russia appeared a significant decline in 2009,and its appeared again in 2015.The main reason of the 2009 one is the financial crisis of 2008,and the 2015 one have so many reasons,including the substantial depreciation of the Ruble,the fall of international oil prices and so on.So Russia's domestic economic situation is complicated in the new period,which has brought influence to trade between China-Russia.However,those reasons bring opportunities to the development of China-Russia trade in the future.In view of this,to explore the influence factors on trade between China-Russia in the new period to improve the trade between China and Russia is of great significance.In this paper,the trade between China and Russia as the research object,based on the opportunities and challenges of it,discusses the influence factors of it and explore measures to improve it.First of all,based on sides of the trade scale,the market structure and product structure,this paper have a brief review the development of China-Russia trade from 2001 to 2015.And analyzed the development situation of trade volume,balance and growth of China-Russia trade.Then,summarized the trade opportunities and challenges of China-Russia trade,opportunities include Russia's entry into WTO,the silk road economic belt in Europe and Asia,and son on;challenges include the uncertainty of Russia's future economic and the operation of Eurasian economic union,and China and Russia lack a sound financial market environment and cooperation mechanism etc.Secondly,summarized the influence factors of China-Russia trade,including Russia's and China's per GDP,average import tariffs in Russia,the RMB and Ruble's actual purchasing power,China's foreign direct investment to Russia,Russia to China's foreign direct investment and international oil prices,then using the co-integration model to analysis the influence of those factors to the China-Russia import and export trade goods of 19 categories.Finally,standing on the position of China,mainly combining with Russia's future economic development situation,as well as the economic and trade cooperation between China and Russia,from the macro level and micro level to put forward how to make use of the opportunities,deal with the challenges and the main factors that influence the goods trade of 19 categories between China and Russia to improve the China-Russia trade in future.
