The coordinated development of economy and environment is one of the themes in the development of society.Economic development can not be at the expense of the ecological environment.Dealing with the relationship between economic development and ecological environment is the foundation of sustainable development of society.Coal enterprises as the main force of fossil energy supply in 13 th Five-Year period,just draw further apart.this theme.For the coal enterprise development has reached a very critical moment.The coal enterprises want to walk out of predicament,and the positive development of ecological economy is the only way.Therefore,how to develop the ecological competition of coal enterprises has become one of the hot topics in the academic circles.Based on this situation,the paper takes the enterprise competitiveness as the breakthrough point,through the research on the ecological competitiveness of enterprises and sustainable development,green development theory,using the GEM model,to establish ecological competitiveness evaluation index system.And then based on Data Envelopment Analysis and supplemented by factor analysis an evaluation model is constructed.Finally,we take the representative coal enterprise JZEG(main coal business)as the empirical research object.This paper makes a longitudinal analysis of the ecological competitiveness of JZEG in 2008-2015.Through the analysis and research,the research on the development of the ecological economy of the enterprise has changed from negative,passive and post management into positive,proactive and preventive measures.This is a very important role for coal enterprises to get rid of real business difficulties and develop in a more positive and healthy situation.
