Research On The Adaptability Of The Specialty Setting Of Higher Vocational Colleges To The Regional Industrial Structure In Shandong Province

Higher vocational education plays an important role in promoting the development of regional economy.The specialty setting of higher vocational colleges is closely related to the transformation and upgrading of regional industrial structure.Higher vocational colleges are responsible to provide skilled talents for regional economy.The specialty setting is relation to whether the higher vocational education can meet the demand of talent in structure,scale and quality or not.Therefore,research on the adaptability of the specialty setting of higher vocational colleges to the regional industrial structure is necessary.The research not only can promote the development of higher vocational education,but also can promote upgrading the industrial structure.Based on the specialty setting of 76 higher vocational colleges and the development of regional industrial structure in Shandong Province,this paper mainly adopts the literature research method and the comparative method.Firstly,the paper summarizes what the industrial structure of Shandong Province and specialty setting of76 higher vocational colleges is like,and then research on the condition of the adaptability of the specialty setting of higher vocational colleges to the regional industrial structure,At last,the paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions to solve the existed problems.In the process of research on the current situation of industrial structure in Shandong Province,it not only studies the general situation of industrial structure in Shandong Province,but also analyzes the internal structure of the three industries.The paper mainly use the categories,points and the number of enrollment of specialty in 2016 to analyze the specialty setting.In the study of the adaptability of the specialty setting to the regional industrial structure,not only analyze the three industries as a whole but also analyze it's advantage industries.The strategic emerging industry-related specialty settings is also considered.In general,the number of the specialty and students relate to the first industry in Shandong Province is small,can not meet the needs of the development of the first industry.Although the secondary industry-related professional structure and size can not meet the needs of the secondary industry,but the adaptability of it is better than the first industry and the third industry.The vocational colleges set too much specialty and recruit too many students which relate to third industry,it beyonds the needs of the third industry.After analyzing the adaptability of the specialty setting of higher vocational colleges to the regional industrial structure.The paper finds some problems of the adaptability.For example,the types of specialty can not meet the needs of the future industrial structure adjustment,the ratio of enrollment is inappropriate,the specialty setting lack of regional economic characteristics and brand characteristics,The degree of participation of the business is not high.The paper finds the causes includes the different specialty costs difference,the existence of path dependence effect,there is a blindness in the professional application of students,the new edition of the specialty directory implementation time is short.The paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions from the perspective of the government,the school and the enterprise to solve the problems.The government should do the micro-control well,build information platform,put special funds.Schools should base on the development trend of industrial structure to explore the proper university-enterprise cooperation model,make the specialty special.Industry association should extend the cooperation between the colleges and enterprises.The enterprises should take apart in the specialty setting.
