The Study Of T Company PLM System Planning

With the concept of “Industry 4.0” and “Made in China 2025” plan becoming very popular, the industrial software, smart hardware and industrial communication network will enter the gold development period in China over the next few years.Among the various kinds of industrial software, PLM(Product Lifecycle Management)system is one of the core IT software systems in Smart Factory. For those product-oriented manufacturing enterprises, how to successfully implement PLM system will naturally become the the spot light.This thesis studies the implementation planning of PLM system in T Company which manufactures high-tech products. The main works and results are as following:(1) First, the thesis walks through the theoretical study of information system investment and project management, which is also the theoretical basis of this study.(2) After analyzing Porter's Five Force Model of T company and product development process status, point out the problems in development management.(3) After analyzing the feasibility and necessity of T company PLM implementation,considering the problems in development management, the thesis makes a list of high level requirement for PLM system implementation. And it points out the key solutions on PLM system combined with selected PLM system.(4) Finally the thesis lays out the plan of project organization and activities for T Company, and gives the related implementing guarantee.It hopes that this thesis studies can provide some enlightenments for other manufacturing enterprises to implement planning of PLM system.
