Project Management Model Of Youth Volunteer Service Projects In Panjin Port

The construction and development of port are deeply connected with industry prosperity of sea transportation. When a port enterprise is seeking economic benefit, social benefit made by the enterprise should also be focused. One way to realize the social benefit is to let youth staffs participate volunteer activities. Volunteer activities promoting is very important to enhance company’s cohesion, to improve “social positive energy”, and to expand traditional virtue of Chinese nation.This article will make use of the theories of project management, human resource management, and project evaluation, to systematically analyze the volunteer activity named “be positive and be kind” organized by Panjin Port Group in 2015. The basic theories of this article are given before the analysis, which are project management theory, human resource theory, and project evaluation theory. And introduce the outline and explain the necessity of the volunteer activity. In the process of analysis, it is adopting document analysis method, interviewing method, and site observation method, to analyze the project management of youth volunteer, according to the project progress, we could find the specific problem of project activity through four stages of project planning, personnel arrangement, plan performing, and performance evaluation in the contrast of reality and theory. The stage of project planning involves establishing project target, summarizing project content, and project duration time. The field of personnel arrangement involves volunteers’ recruitment, training, general management, evaluation, motivation and construction of volunteer database. The stage of plan performing involves project personnel division, schedule situation, cost consumption, quality and risk management. The stage of performance evaluation involves analysis and summarize of performance evaluation purpose, consequence, process, effect and feedback. After that, reflect and sum up the problems acquired through analysis compare with the existing theories, to establish an integrated volunteer service system, which is suitable to port listed company.
