| As a veteran manufacturer of Al-Mg alloy,DQ company is a major project of the first five-year plan.But in the aluminum processing industry market of China at present stage,homogenization phenomenon of mid-range Al-Mg alloy products is serious.Production capacity is excess and high value-added Al-Mg materials variety is not enough.High-end products are monopolized by foreign large enterprises.Most of the domestic products rely on imports.Although DQ company has an abundant industrial foundation and innovation resources,but it’s products are still facing the development bottleneck of the low value-added products,the weak market development ability and the poor industry chain.This paper with the topic of industrial upgrading of products from DQ company put forward feasible suggestions for its future development in the view of global value chain.The research status at home and abroad on industrial upgrading was analyzed comprehensively.By comparative study on many theories,the research methods in this paper were determined.Based on the introduction of historical evolution and management status of DQ company,the general product positioning of DQ company was obtained from the meth od of global value chain analysis including lateral SWOT analysis of the industrial trades competitive abilities and longitudinal global value chain analysis.The global strategic objectives of industrial upgrading of its products were also determined.In addition,the industrial upgrading paths and safeguard measures were pointed out according to the target location.It provided theoretical basis for turning unfavourable situation and industrial upgrading of products,and had positive significance on helping the development of new Al-Mg alloy material industry and promoting changes in the industrial structure status of China which presented a low level in the technology composition and the applied degree of advanced technologies in the area of Al-Mg alloy. |
