Viewed as the one of technologies,which can change the world,virtual reality(shorted as VR)and its industry has had explosive growth.According to the survey data from ii Media Research,the VR market size reached 1.54 billion in 2015 and will reach 5.66 billion in 2016,55 billion in 2020.As one of the first VR domestic companies,Second Space(Beijing)Technology Co.,Ltd.(shorted as Second Space)has engaged in the invention of VR hardware.Although Second Space has begun to promote and develop itself in the VR market,it is badly and urgently needed to be considered how to survive and expand in the intense competition.Based on the development strategy theory and literature review,this research analyzed the political,economic,social,technical and industrial environments around Second Space.Inside resources of Second Space were also considered and analyzed.After these analyses,SWOT was used to summarize the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of Second Space.At last,the intensive development strategy was suggested to be adopted.At the same time,marketing strategy,financial strategy and human resource strategy were chosen to be function strategies.In order to achieve strategy target,Second Space should also prepare organization construction,resource integration and relevant system establishment,and try to improve financing and investigating efficiency,project management and cooperation,business model and key technology innovation,enterprise culture.This research has advanced theoretical and practical significance for the new area of strategy management of VR company.
