Research On The Anti-dumping Effect Of European Union On China Pv Industry

Since China's accession to the WTO,China and the EU continue to deepen cooperation in the field of economic and trade,has been an important partner for each other.The trade between China and EU has improved the efficiency of resource allocation,and made great contributions to the economic development of the two regions.However,in recent years,trade friction between China and Europe has occurred frequently,and the European Union frequently uses trade protection measures to carry out anti-dumping investigations on China's exports.July 2012,EUProSun led by SolarWorld filed an application with the European commission,require for Chinese PV products anti-dumping investigation.In June 2013 the European Commission made of anti dumping from the Chinese production of photovoltaic products,require companies to pay 11.8% to 48.6% of the anti-dumping tax.The case involving more than 20 billion U.S.dollars,is the largest trade dispute between China and the eu.In this paper,I analyzed the effect of EU anti-dumping on Chinese PV products thought case study.I deeply analyze the impact of anti-dumping actions on China and europe.The first two chapters introduce the background of this study,the whole course of anti-dumping cases and the introduction of photovoltaic industry,which will pave the way for further research.This article focuses on the third chapter,namely the empirical analysis of the anti-dumping effect.In this paper,the effects of antidumping is broadly divided into two categories,one is the direct impact of the main description of the anti-dumping is a specific effect on the volume of trade between countries involved,including four common trade effect: Trade Destruction Effect,Trade Diversion Effect,Trade Deflection Effect and Trade Inhibition Effect;the other is the indirect impact of anti-dumping,including international retaliation,response to antidumping,the public interests and the adjustment of industrial effect,the industry adjustment effect is positive effect of anti-dumping.The last chapter is the summary of the previous research results and suggestions.Through the study of various effects,we can see that the anti-dumping results are not single,and can not be simply judged to be beneficial or harmful.For some effects,we can prevent it in advance to mitigate its harm.And for certain effects,we may be able to use them to obtain sufficient theoretical motivation to negotiate with trade parties and to reduce trade frictions.
