In September2012, the European Union initiated anti-dumping on photovoltaic products against China. This article focus on the case to analyze the effect of the EU’s anti-dumping.The article firstly researches the trade effect of anti-dumping on PV products, which can further be divided as trade destruction, trade deflation, trade depression and trade diversion. From the time dimension, trade effect can be concluded as survey effect and sanction effect. We empirically test the trade effect investigating Chinese exports of PV products into EU between January2012and October2013.Secondly, this article analyzes the effect of EU’s anti-dumping from the view of company. We define destruction effect and creation effect on the base of Bertrand Model and further research a company.We then study the effect from the aspect of country. The anti-dumping influences the gross production and employment effect as well as country’s behavior.Finally the article analyzes the photovoltaic industry and recommends to adding creation effect and reducing destruction effect of anti-dumping.
