In recent years,with the increasing demand of logistics in our country,the third party logistics(3PL)enterprises as the logistics service integrator have developed rapidly.Through integrating the social logistics resources,3PL enterprises can provide integrated,personalized and all-round logistics services.At the same time,the 3PL enterprises can greatly reduce the cost and risks of enterprise operation by introducing excellent carriers.To solve the problem how to strengthen the performance management of the third party logistics enterprises.This paper launches the research from the following three aspects: the construction of the performance evaluation system,the design of performance incentive model and the establishment of performance management system.Firstly,during the process of establishing logistics performance evaluation system,this paper set up the evaluation index system of carrier performance from four aspects:the logistics service quality,logistics service capability,logistics service cost and logistics coordination and communication ability,and then combined with the specific assessment requirements of carriers,developed a detailed evaluation criteria system for each index,then,the application of the evaluation system is analyzed by an example.Secondly,during the process of establishing logistics performance incentive model,this paper considered fully the principal-agent relationship between the 3PL enterprises and their carriers,and then presented incentive contract model which meet the carriers’ participation constraints and incentive compatibility constraints based on principal-agent theory and incentive contract theory.By analyzing the results of model,this paper put forward the effective methods of motivating carriers,and then analyzed combined with the case.Finally,this paper discussed the performance management institution of logistics carriers,and elaborated the work that the third party logistics enterprises should enhance in the performance level from four aspects: the public bidding system,the training and upgrading system,the rating evaluation mechanism and the trust establishment mechanism. |
