| With the coming of the era of Internet economy and technology economy which sees customer as the core role and pay attention to the quality of service.There is growing increase of personalized and customized customer demand.As a new mode of production,service-oriented manufacturing has aroused extensive attention from theoretical researchers and policy makers. Through the full participation of customers, service-oriented manufacturing make enterprises in the value chain provide each other with productive services and service production, breaking boundaries between the manufacturing and service industry, to achieve the integration of decentralized manufacturing resources and effective integration of products and services.Based on the reality of China,discuss the specific situation of the total factor productivity in the service-oriented manufacturing industry.It is of great significance to develop the strategic planning and implementation plan of the manufacturing industry,to explore the trend of the different sub-sectors, the period and the regional trend and give the influencing factors.Based on the theory of service-oriented manufacturing and the total factor productivity, we use panel data of different industry and different regions to calculate the TFP of SOM.And analyze the heterogeneity,convergence and influencing factors empirically.the situation from the perspective of domestic, regional and industrial differences.After that,we provide scientific reference for the orientation of enterprises and the formulation of policies to achieve the big transformation upgrading and leapfrog development from"Made in China" to "Create in China".Firstly, based on the panel data, the paper studies empirically the heterogeneity of the total factor productivity of China’s service-oriented manufacturing industry. Constructs the nonparametric Malmquist productivity index, measuring the temporal and spatial differences of the total factor productivity from the three aspects in period, industry and region, and analyzes the change trend and the reason of the change.It is found that the overall TFP of service-oriented manufacturing in China from 2006 to 2013 has increased by 0.9% per year, also has a obvious fluctuation,mainly due to the improvement of technological progress rate.Before 2010, the TFP was greatly affected by the technical efficiency and mainly affected by the rate of technological progress after 2010. The overall trend of TFP index of each segmented industry is similar, with the transportation equipment manufacturing industry growing the fastest,which is much higher than the instrument manufacturing industry.Besides the total factor productivity of service-oriented manufacturing in Beijing and Hebei is negative due to industrial restructuring, the other provinces all have positive growth, especially in Liaoning Province,which is the most significant growth area. The total factor productivity growth of the central and western regions are much higher than the eastern region, and mainly reflected in the technological progress rate changes. China’s service-oriented manufacturing industry is generally transits from the "budding" to "growth period".The central and western regions have a obvious pursuit action in technology.The regional differences are becoming gradually narrow. Secondly, the trend of total factor productivity of seven service industries in China’s service-oriented manufacturing industry was analyzed from the perspective of period,industry and region by using σ convergence and β-convergence test. It is found that the TFP index and technical efficiency index of China’s service-oriented manufacturing industry showed an absoluteβ-convergence trend in China’s service-oriented manufacturing industry in2006-2014, but the technology progress index has absolute βdivergence. The absolute β convergence between the subdivision industries is obvious. The service-oriented manufacturing industry has obvious convergence in the region, and the absolute β-convergence rate in the eastern, middle and western regions is obviously higher than the overall level. And we found the formation of the East, Central and Western convergence of the three clubs. Thirdly, using SPSS software and Eviews software, the dynamic panel data regression model is established to analyze the factors affecting the total factor productivity of service industry. It is found that the level of human capital, R & D investment, government intervention, marketization degree and opening degree are the main reasons for the formation of differences of the service-oriented total factor productivity.Finally, according to the conclusion of the study,we design the policy based on three aspects of the overall control, industry development and regional differences for China’s service-oriented manufacturing to provide some reference to promote the specialization, refined development of service-oriented manufacturing industry . |
