Business Plan For A Pharmacy In Sigras

The project involves the implementation of a pharmacy store in Sigras in the municipality of Cambre in the province of La Coruna,Spain.In addition to selling medicines the pharmacy will also offer a wide range of complementary products like beauty products,optical,orthopedics,veterinarian,diet,vitamins…In Spain,pharmacies are government-controlled stores with a special regulation.In the project I will go deep into the subject,but for this abstract,I will summarize the main features of this law.-Each pharmacy has an area(territory)according to the existing population in the area.In this way the government establishes a special protection that does not allow competition in the same territory.-The price of medicines is regulated by law and government is subsidizing the sale to the population through social security.-The sale of other non-pharmaceutical products is completely allowed in the pharmacy stores.In this way,pharmacies are a stable and a low-risk business in which,by law,each store has a base of fixed customers.The main consequence of this regulation is that if you want to set up a pharmacy now,you have to buy an existing one because,the licenses are limited in number.
