Problems And Countermeasures Of The Old City Reconstruction

Old cities are unique urban historical imprints formed during the urban planning,layout and construction in the historical process of social development.With the rapid economic development and the improvement in people's living standards,the layout of old city is difficult to meet the current development demands,and thus,old city reconstruction is an inevitable issue and irresistible trend in the process of urbanization.With Rui'an old city reconstruction as the starting point,this essay fully analyzes the needs of buildings renovation,roads expansion and overall environment improvement of Rui'an old city due to its functional disorders.This essay discusses how to promote the researches on the organic urban renewal models and strategies for Rui'an old city in a scientific and orderly manner,with old city reconstruction project as the basis,historical blocks renovation as the support and reparation of former residences of celebrities as the focus.This essay,with the relevant new public management theory as guidance and the advanced experiences and practices of renovation in overseas developed countries and domestic pioneering cities as references,offers useful suggestions on the rational promotion of old city reconstruction.This essay makes analysis and researches in the following four parts:The first part,including Chapter 1 and 2,is the preconditions and basis of this research.Chapter 1,Introduction,mainly expounds the research background and significance,and the domestic and foreign research status of old city reconstruction.Chapter 2 introduces the relevant basic theories involved in this essay,including the concept of old city reconstruction,the ideology and theoretical review of urban organic renewal.The second part,Chapter 3,with the analysis of domestic and foreign old city reconstruction cases as the starting point,analyzes the experiences and lessons which can be used as our references,concludes the main features of old city reconstruction,provides the case basis for the third part and offers references to Rui'an old city reconstruction.The third part,including Chapter 4 and 5,is the core of this essay.Chapter 4 makes a detailed analysis on the models and problems in Rui'an old city reconstruction,analyzes and concludes the pros and cons of Rui'an old city reconstruction from the viewpoints of achievements and contradictions,and on the above basis,puts forward the replicable experiences in old city reconstruction.Chapter 5 proposes to promote Rui'an old city reconstruction from the three aspects of people-oriented ideology,scientific development and market mechanism,and analyzes the feasibility and applicability of this strategy.The fourth part,Chapter 6,is a summary of the above chapters and a conclusion of this essay,which summarizes the models,problems and strategies in Rui'an old city reconstruction.
