The Iron & Steel Industry plays an important role in Tangshan economy;its changes are directly related to Tangshan's development.In recent years,Tangshan economic growth rapidly profits from the development of iron and steel industry.Since 2001,with our country turns into a new stage of rapid development in heavy industry,Tangshan iron and steel industry began to take the fast development.W Steel Corp established in 2002,after more than ten years development,the company has became an important member in iron and steel enterprises cluster with Tangshan characteristics.W's technical level and product quality continue to improve,mainly due to the company since 2009 by the group's strong support.But it also has some weaknesses,such as Small enterprise scale and unreasonable structure.With the wave of economic globalization,the soar of raw materials and the squeeze of customers make the profits of companies decreasing.Recently,the structural reform of supply side and the continuous deepening of iron and steel,coal production capacity to make the situation worse,W company as one of them also encountered the same dilemma.Seeking change,innovation,cooperation and development become the future strategic direction of W company.Surviving and growing stronger in intense market competitions,W steel Corp must decision in accordance with the reality of the development model.This paper focuses on the research of W company's current problems in the strategic management theory as the basis,using the five forces model of competition and PEST as a measurement tool,the analysis of W Steel Corp facing difficulties from multiple dimensions of environment,policy and technology,lay the foundation for the next step to find reason and solving method;at the same time.From different aspects of company internal management level evaluation is also crucial.Among them,the production capacity,sales ability,talent management ability and financial management ability is hard power,corporate culture is soft power.W Steel Corp in the above aspects have performed well,quite advantage.However,the existence of flawed W company is also the technology innovation ability and access to resources.The unstable supply of iron ore is the number one factor limiting the growth of the company.On the basis of the above analysis,using the SWOT matrix analysis method,we can basically get the competitive strategy for W Steel Corp pay attention to technological innovation,eliminate backward equipment,strengthen product research and development,so as to reduce the cost.In marketing,strengthen cooperation,expand channels to enhance sales.This is a low-cost competitive strategy,is currently the most suitable for W,the smallest risk,the most feasible way.Then,according to the current situation and strategy,develop specific implementation plans: the introduction of talents,reform management mode,strengthen technology research,learning and marketing experience,the construction of enterprise culture,multi-party financing,the establishment of reliable information management system.Based on the research of W company production and sales situation,scientific research and practical measure tools,find out the reasons behind the problem,and tries to put forward the feasible solution,in order to change the current plight of W company.
