| As the globalization expanded and rooted deeply in the world economy, the competition in the market becomes fiercer especially for the smart-phone market. The small or middle size smart-phone companies that integrate supply-chain by combining the engineering design and market sales together have less competence and lower capability to overcome the market risks, due to the facts that those companies have low capital fund, small economic scale, meanwhile facing the information aversion, and hence only acquire a relative backward procurement management systems. While the smart-phone market grows rapidly and induces an acute competition for the survival,on the other hand, the low profit margin in the Chinese domestic market leaves little room for the small/mid companies to develop. Thereby, many of them are lingering on the verge of bankruptcy. The traditional procurement management methodologies fails to satisfy the demand of those supply-chain-integrated companies for a further development, and thus the urgency of the supply-chain management revolution. In this research, the paper mainly discusses the current problems existing in A company’s integrated supply-chain management system by examine three factors from manufacturing processes, cost control and financial management. Through a careful examination and discussion of the solutions to all the problems,direct-procurement would enhance more for A company’s competency than the indirect-procurement. The paper also analyzes the effect after A company transited its supply-chain management system to the direct procurement, and concludes that direct procurement provides much better results to ease the shortage of cost and resources for A company than the indirect procurement. The main purpose of this paper’s research is to help the small/middle size smart-phone companies to build up a relative comprehensive supply-chain system that could support the companies to develop among the strong competition in the market.Meanwhile, the research also hopes to become a reference for those companies that wish to design a supply-chain system that can integrates from first design step to the final sales step. |
