Research On The Red Date Products Of Xinzheng City In The View Of Tourism Shopping

Tourism is widely recognized as one of the world's largest industries.Shopping,a preferred tourism revenue and contributing to economic development.As the core elements of tourism shopping,tourism products not only reflect the cultural characteristics of travel destination,but also reflect the individual needs of tourists.Xinzheng is a famous city with more than 8,000 years' history.Recognized as the hometown of the Yellow Emperor,root of China,Xinzheng has its unique tourism resources.Meanwhile,Xinzheng International Airport,the biggest and busiest airport in central China,which is one of the key growth points in the provincial economic and social development,also plays as an important window and base in Henan Province.Being called as "the Town of Chinese Red Dates",Xinzheng's tourism product development is inseparable from the dates.For local economic development,date products and activities contributed a lot.In the year of 2016,Xinzheng already has 82 enterprises that produce red date relative products,the annual output value of them is 1.67 billion yuan,and more than 6,000 people got employed in the factories.However,as tourism products,dates still remain to be developed,the extent of integration between red date development and tourism is still low.Referring to the advantages and current situations of Xinzheng red date industry,combining the theories of tourist shopping and tourism commodities,this thesis mentioned the prospect of integrating Xinzheng red date industry with the development of tourism and shopping,analyzed the Xinzheng red date industry trends in tourist shopping perspective,acquired the position of Xinzheng red date in Henan tourism activities from questionnaire survey,proposed the advices on promoting the tourism industry and shopping by red date industry and accelerating the transformation and upgrading strategies of red date industry by tourism activities.
