Research On Disclosure System Of Sustainable Development Report Of Listed Electric Power Companies In China

As the pillar and basic industry of the national economy,the power industry has important significance to China’s economic development and stability.Due to the high energy consumption and serious pollution emissions,the power enterprises should take more responsibility at the same time.Meanwhile,China’s coal reserves are abundant,and the power generation structure is mainly dominated by thermal power.China’s special power structure determines the important position of China’s electric power industry in the world,the current situation and future trend of information disclosure of sustainable development of China’s power enterprises is directly related to China’s economic,social and environmental responsibility as the largest developing country in the world.At the same time,the enterprise’s policy and economic environment is constantly changing.Development should not be at the cost of the environment,our government has issued more strict policies to regulate the development of electric power enterprises.Meanwhile,the economic structure of Balanced Pratt & Whitney,which is represented by open economy and regional cooperation,has been formed.In the new situation “The Belt and Road”,power enterprises should be committed to creating the flow of resources,strengthen the docking between the development strategy,and constructing the interconnection of energy network.Under these circumstances,this paper explores the information disclosure of sustainable development of electric power industry.This paper first introduced the concept of sustainable development information and related theories.Then through the vertical and horizontal comparison with foreign power companies,we found out the problems in the information disclosure of China’s power companies.Then,according to the characteristics of the power industry,this paper put forward the factors that affect the quality of information disclosure and carried out empirical analysis.The results showed that: the quality of sustainable development information disclosure is positively related to the policy environment,and there is a certain correlation with the openness of operation.In addition,the size of the company,the level of financial leverage,the age of the enterprise and other factors,will have different degrees of impact on corporate sustainable development information disclosure.Finally,according to the comprehensive analysis,this article built the disclosure system of sustainable development report of the electric power enterprise of our country from the enterprise internal and external angles.The system includes the change of the management concepts,the management object,the management goal and the managementmechanism,and the completeness of participant and content.Through the research,we hope to provide reference for improving the disclosure system of sustainable development report,and promote the healthy development of China’s power industry.
