The Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road,also named as The Belt and Road(abbreviated B&R),One Belt,O ne Road(abbreviated OBOR)or the Belt and Road Initiative,is an important initiative proposed by the Chinese government.B&R deepens the reform and opening up,and also innovates world economic cooperation mode.Nowadays,with sluggishness of world economic recovery and the 4th international industrial transfer booms,B&R was proposed timely.It focuses on mutual benefit and common development among countries primarily between People's Republic of China and countries along the B&R.There are a solid economic foundation and perfect industrial upgrade in China,while there are still some problems in structural adjustment.There exists some countries along B&R which have more developed industrial technology,but most of them are developing countries and new emerging economies.Thus the economic development gradient between China and those countries,solid foundation of industrial acceptance and ever improving environment of industrial environment will accelerate the pace of China to transfer extensive international industries to countries along B&R.With the ever-richer industrial transfer mode,it becomes possible for China to invests more developed countries along B&R and enjoy the overflow effect of their technology.C hina will strengthen economic interaction with the world through The Belt and Road,it also becomes possible for countries along B&R to bring economic effects,social effects,and ecological effects to China.This thesis adopts both theory and demonstration,quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,and comparative study etc.First of all,this thesis analyses the current situation of Chinese industries and the environment in countries along B&R.On this basis,countries which are suitable for industry transfer are selected.Then this thesis discusses the future influence of C hinese international industry shift and relevant suggestions are put forward in the end of this thesis.The 1st part is the introduction,mainly describes the background and significance,domestic and abroad research,illustrates the idea,research methods,and technological route.The 2nd part is the concepts and theories for research.This part first elaborates concept of The Belt and Road,international industrial shift,international industrial shift effects etc.Besides,some theories concerning location selection and transfer mechanism are summarized as follows : location theory,industry expanding theory,investment development cycle theory,industry life cycle theory,global value chain and labor division etc.It demonstrates the findings of the study at the end of this part.The 3rd part of this thesis elaborates the B&R Initiative and the opportunity of industrial transfer.First it summarizes the development history of The Belt and Road.Next,this thesis analyzes the situation of world economy,and mainly focuses on challenges and opportunities that provided by the 4th International Industry Transfer.Then explains the foundation and advantages of industrial transfer from 2 perspectives-subject and object,that is,China and countries along the B&R.In the 4th part,based on C hinese industrial development and distribution,picks out which kind of industries can be transferred.First,selection of industries which can transfer ought to consider the principle and benchmark of industry transfer,including comparative advantage of industry,marginal industrial benchmark,industry developmental homogeneity etc.Apart from considering China's situation,access policies and encouragement policies on industrial transfer in countries along B&R also should be considered.Thus conclusion can be draw out that 5 industry types can be transferred to countries along B&R,they are infrastructure construction,labor concentrated industry,medium and high-technology intensive industry,capital-intensive heavy industry,productive related services industry.Some prominent industries are discussed in this part.The 5th part of this thesis is which county can be chosen for China's industry transfer based on B&R.First,using similar coefficient of the industrial structure,analyzes matching degree between C hina and countries along B&R.Using AHP to establish a system of evaluating indicator for attraction.According to attraction ranking,countries which are suitable for industry transfer are as follows: India,Indonesia,Malaysia,Thailand,Turkey etc,Matching those countries to industries mentioned in the 4th part,main conclusions are draw out as follows.Transportation construction,telecom industry,electric power(except nuclear),farming industry and textile industry are proper to transfer to India.Infrastructure construction,textile industry,electronics industry,chemical industry,communication and information industry are suitable to transfer to Indonesia.Mid-level manufacturing industry and parts of equipment manufacture industry are fit to transfer to Malaysia.Light industry,mechanical equipment and vehicle manufacturing industry,chemical industry and service industry are proper to transfer to Thailand.Telecom industry,energy industry,manufacturing industry and transportation etc are apt to transfer to Turkey.The last part is effects analysis of China B&R oriented industry transfer,and some suggestions relative to it are put forward.Effects analysis are discussed from 3 aspects,that is,economic effects,social effects and ecological effects.Finally according to the analysis above,this thesis proposes some suggestions on China B&R oriented industry transfer.
