Since the outbreak of the financial crisis in 2008,the development of the world economy has been trapped and China's economic growth has been slowed down, based on this background,"One Belt and One Road" initiati,ve has emerged."One Belt and One Road" initiative not only strengthened regional cooperation in eastern region and the central-western region, but also promoted the economic interchange between China and other countries and affected the existing regional trade pattern in the world. The research to the effect of China's exports to countries along the "Belt and Road" after the implementation of the "Belt and Road Initiative" has certain theoretical and practical significance. The study addresses two issues:the first is what is the state of trade between china and countries along the "One Belt and One Road",and the second is whether the "One Belt One Road" initiative will promote China's export to countries along the "One Belt and One Road".Based on relevant theories and literature research, the thesis elaborates China's trade situation with countries along the "One Belt and One Road",the results show that the trade and economic relations is getting closer between China and countries along "One Belt and One Road".The trade volume between China and countries along "One Belt and One Road" continues to increased,China's exports to the countries along "One Belt and One Road" are mainly concentrated in industrial manufactured goods, according to the TC index and RCA index,it shows that China has competitive advantage for countries in Central Eastern and South Asia,on the contrary,it has a competitive disadvantage for East Asian countries. From the product level, there is a comparative advantage in industrial manufactured goods and comparative disadvantages in primary products.Further, the thesis adopts a synthetic control method to explore the impact of China's exports to countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative after the "One Belt and One Road" initiative is proposed and implemented. The thesis considers the launching and implementation of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative as an impact event, using the countries along the "One Belt and One Road" as the treated group, and the non-countries along "One Belt and One Road" countries with independent sovereignty that have not signed a free trade agreement with China as control group, using synthetic control method to estimate export effects, the result shows that "One Belt and One Road" initiative promotes export after initiative was proposed and implemented.According to the overall estimation results, after the "One Belt and One Road" initiative was proposed,China's exports to countries along the route had a positive "progressive" effect;According to the country-by-country estimation results,China's exports to various countries along the "One Belt and One Road" are significantly different, and China's positive export promotion effect to countries along the "One Belt and One Road" is significantly greater than China's exports to individual countries. Finally, based on the above conclusions, the thesis gives three suggestions:optimizing the structure of export commodities, adopting different strategies in different regions and exploring new areas of cooperation,so as to further promote the export to countries along "One Belt and One Road".
