Since the beginning of the new century, the Jiangxi provincial government put forward the "development of Jiangxi in the central region",the State Council put forward "to support the Gannan and other central Soviet areas to revitalize the development strategy" and other development strategies to promote the urbanization strategy as an important way to build a moderately prosperous society The Jiangxi Province is currently in the accelerated development of the climbing period,in this context, the choice of Jiangxi Province, three major urban areas in Nanchang County,Jiujiang County,Gan County for the study area, facing the three cities of urban expansion speed,Factor, extended effect of research, has a good practical significance.Based on the data of 2000,2010,2015 satellite imagery, land use present situation, census data and economic and social development statistics of Jiangxi Province, this paper uses GIS and RS technology to extract relevant information, and then analyzes the expansion rate of the study area,The change of the surface coverage and the expansion driving factor. Finally, the paper analyzes the characteristics of the urban built-up area expansion, the driving factors of the expansion and the expansion of the ecological environment effect in the Jiangxi province and the relevant statistical data. The results show that:(1)Through the interpretation of remote sensing images in each city of the study area, the urban built-up area and surface coverage information are obtained, and then the changes in the process of contrast analysis are carried out.First, the urban expansion of the study area is different in time and space. In the first period(2000-2010),the expansion rate and annual growth rate of each city in the study area are increased in different degrees, and the expansion rate is relatively slow.Gradually accelerated. In the second period(2010-2015),the expansion rate of the built area was significantly accelerated, and the fastest growth rate in Jiujiang County increased from 1.08 to 4.17,an increase of 3.86 times. In Jiangxi Province,4 increased from 0.38 to 1.14,Slow,from 6.14 to 14.7,an increase of 2.4 times, indicating that Nanchang county city expansion has reached a certain degree, the speed significantly slowed down, and Jiujiang County,Gan County, there is a certain development space. Finally, from the classification of the surface cover in the built area, with the expansion of the built area, the green area coverage and the proportion of water bodies in the urban built-up areas of the study area have changed, and the coverage of greening has increased.Gan County in 2010 before and after the fluctuations,Ganxian green coverage in 2006 or so behind Jiujiang County,in 2010 after gradually overtake Jiujiang County. But the overall proportion of water is on the rise, the proportion of water in Gan County is almost unchanged.(2)The driving factors of urban expansion in the study area are mainly from the socioeconomic point of view qualitative analysis, this paper first extract the urban built-up area, and then select the non-agricultural population, said the regional GDP,said urban fixed assets investment completion,Gross industrial output, indicating local revenue. The impact of five socio-economic factors on Nanchang County: non-agricultural population> regional GDP> urban fixed assets investment completion> industrial output value> local fiscal revenue;Jiujiang County, the impact of urban expansion: Gross Domestic Product> Non-agricultural Population> Investment in Urban Fixed Assets> Gross Domestic Product> Local Fiscal Revenue;Impact on Urban Expansion of Ganxian: Non-agricultural Population> Gross Domestic Product> Local Fiscal Income> Industrial Production Value> investment in urban fixed assets.
