Research On The Development Strategy Of Dongchuan Port In Yunnan Province

The infrastructure of water transportion is lagging seriously and the investment of waterway is less than other places.The waterway transport is a serious problem in Yunnan province,water transportation have been less investment,and water transportuction being serious lag.Yannan along Jinsha River within the territory of mountains.The traffic is very inconvenient economic.Development lags.behind the industry is not developed.water value cannot be reflect,the ideas and limitations social awareness is not uniform.Dongchuan,Located along the Jinsha River,has a special geographical location,obvious geographical advantages,superior construction conditions and broad prospects for development.The planning construction of Dongchuan port into the strategic framework of China's Yangtze River economic belt development has important significance to the construction of Yunnan comprehensive strategic layout for South Asia,Southeast Asia radiation center.In this paper,the theory of strategic management is introduced into the research on the development of Dongchuan port.Firstly,The function orientation and development strategy of Dongchuan port is put forward by adopted the SWOT analysis method for(i)the opening of the southwest bridgehead in Yunnan province,(ii)the integrated traffic system in Central Yunnan Province,(iii)the economic and social development,based on(i)environmental analysis of the Dongchuan port,(ii)summary of the development process of Jinsha River port,(iii)analysis of current situation of the port and the macro environment of the Dongchuan port,and(iv)learn from the world's inland shipping and inland river especially the Yangtze River shipping development experience.Secondly,the development index of the water transportation and ship type are predictive according to the international and domestic economy,the regional economy and Kunming economic and society development trends especially faced port industrial development,combined with the regional economic of the port hinterland,the industrial layout and industrial structure,and the transportation development planning.Again,the financing mode of Dongchuan port construction is deeply discussed on the basis of studying the management mode of domestic and foreign port construction.The method of financing and construction is proposed that the government is demanded to the policy support,the community to the funds accumulation,and the market to benefit output in order to speed up the pace of port construction and development.Finally,the specific development strategies of Dongchuan port are put forward such as the guiding ideology,the strategic objectives,the business focus,and the business measures.This thesis can provide a comprehensive analysis of the environment of the port to the decision makers of the port,and help them make a practical and feasible long-term development strategy.Also,it can provides a prospective way of thinking for the construction and development of Dongchuan port.
