An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Internet Information Technology On Manufacturing Enterprise Productivity

At present,the global manufacturing industry development pattern and China's economic development environment have undergone major changes.The German government put forward the concept of Industry 4.0,designed to enhance the level of intelligent manufacturing.China made the deployment of the strategy of manufacturing power in "Made in China 2025".Premier Li Keqiang proposed the "Internet plus" action plan in the government work report,to promote Internet development from consumption to production,accelerating the development of manufacturing industry.How to make use of Internet information technology to promote the integration and innovation between enterprise with Internet,and to improve the productivity of the enterprise,is one of the key factors in the competition and development.From the perspective of relevant theoretical analysis,this paper combed theory and literature review of the impact of Internet information technology on enterprise productivity,then proposed hypothesis and research model.The paper is divided into the following parts:(1)Use data envelopment analysis method to establish input-output model,calculating and evaluating enterprise productivity based on the data of China's manufacturing industry in 2011(a total of 623 samples).(2)According to the study of Massimo G.Colombo(2013),this paper extracted 13 indexes reflecting application of Internet information technology,divided into three categories through the factor analysis method.The cumulative variance contribution rate was up to 62.695%.Three factors were named as business support,information management and basic application.(3)Empirically analyzed the impact of Internet information technology on enterprise productivity,and then examined the moderating effect of quality certification and internationalization level of enterprises.(4)In order to test the rationality of the results,this paper conducted a test on the scale of the sample and the industry.The main conclusions of this study were as follows:(1)Internet information technology in business support and information management application had a positive effect on the productivity of enterprises,but basic application did not show a significant role.(2)Made quality certification as a moderate variable,it played a positive role in regulate the effect of Inernet information technology on productivity.(3)Made the level of internationalization as a moderate variable,the results showed that the level of internationalization played a positive role in regulating the effect of Internet information technology on the productivity of enterprises.
