| Under Chinese new normal economy,the Central Government Economic Working Conference has repeatedly proposed that traditional industries should actively adapt to new normal economy,and enterprises should make efforts to realize the transformation and upgrading.Traditional industries need continuous innovation to realize the transformation and upgrading,it is generally known that innovation makes the sustainable development of enterprises.Traditional securities companies,especially small and medium-sized securities companies,their existence and development are challenged by internal and external factors under new normal economy.Small and medium-sized securities companies are crucial parts of securities industry in China,transformation and upgrading of these companies will benefit the domestic securities industry and whole fiancial market.With the booming internet technologies and growing internet penetration,an increasing number of traditional industries are heavily influenced.Internet has the following characteristics:low-cost,efficient,interactive and convenient,which are conducive to the transformation and upgrading of traditional securities industries.Compared to large securities companies,small and medium-sized securities companies focus on serving long tail minority investors.Internet technologies are able to solve investment and financing problems of minority investors,in which small and medium-sized securities companies are regarded as natural embracer of internet finance.With the aid of internet,those small and medium-sized securities companies have the possibility to overtake front runners.The main research methods used in this paper include literature research,case analysis and system analysis.This paper is based on analyses and researches on the cyberization of securities companies in the US and Japan,in order to instruct the transformation of small and medium-sized securities companies in China.In the first part,the paper will define small and medium-sized securities companies,and analyze the status of these companies from a number of perspectives;in the second part,the whole background of the internet will be introduced;meanwhile,the paper will conduct an analysis of the impact of the internet on securities industry in China.Using SWOT analysis to explore the competitive environment of the cyberization of small and medium-sized securities companies,it can be concluded that small and medium-sized securities companies should seize the opportunities and develop internet-based securities business;In the next part,the paper will review the cyberization of securities companies in the US and Japan and discuss classic cases,to find the similarity and illumination of the cyberization of foreign securities companies;in the final part,based on the analyses of the status of small and medium-sized companies and references of successful cases of foreign securities companies,the paper will propose the cyberization methods and risk prevention measures to securities companies in China,finally draw a conclusion on the cyberization of small and medium-sized companies and offer policy recommendations. |
