| In the reform and opening-up of China and the development of market economy,Small and medium-sized enterprises (SEMS) are main force to be reckoned with in thepowerhouse.They can not only satisfy the people’s growing and diversified consumerdemand, they also can help create great national wealth. And they areimportant supportof active market, expanding employment and maintaining social stability; and they areassistants and supporters of the large enterprises.But with theaccession to the WTO ofChina, we gradually enter the world market. And the influence of international anddomestic economic situation in recent years, the traditional advantage of small andmedium-sized enterprises (SEMS) has been offset thin. The nation encourage smalland medium-sized enterprises to transform and upgrade to better adapt to marketdemand, and seek greater development of the enterprise.Face the dilemma,government at all levels has given a lot of support for small and medium-sizedenterprise transformation and upgradingboth in policy and system state. Scholars havealso been discussed how to make the enterprisetransformation and upgrading.As a more developed region ofsmall and medium-sized enterprisesin China, smalland medium-sized enterprises in Shenzhen city has certain representativeness, and thisresearch select XHH metal products co., LTD.Asan example in this paper, wediscussed the problem of transformation and upgrading for small business.On the basisof the purposeof our study, first of all, based on reading and deep thinkingof the relatedliterature and document, we generalized the previous studies, and then explained therelevant concepts and basic theory. Next, according tothe detailed research andanalysisof the XHH Company, we started from the basic situation of the company, andanalyzed the motive of transformation and upgrading, then we discussed the directionand the way about the transformation and upgrading of the company,and the plans andimplementation schemes were discussed in this paper. Finally, we discussedthefeasibility study conclusion of transformation and upgrading ofXHH Company.Thefuture research directions were discussed in this paper.The innovations of this paper are: we extracted the most suitable theoryfor acertain enterprisefrom the theory of the enterprise transformation and upgrading,toguide the transformation and upgrading of enterprises; weusedthe theory and researchresultsof management and economics and other fields to a real case. It is a good exampleabout the combination of theoretical knowledge and practice. Specifically,according to the four factorsmodel of Boyle&Desai (1991) and theactual situationofXHH Company, we discussed and analyzedthe reason of the transformation andupgrading of enterprises. Then we used the theory of value chain and smile curvetheory and put concrete measures for the transformation and upgrading of enterprise.Our study had certain theoretical significance and social significance. |
