With the rapid development of e-commerce of China,making the number of Express parcel grow with each day.In 2011,smart express box and express service station mode came out,but it is only a temporary solution to express delivery difficulties.On the one hand,the main income of the above two is limited while the labor cost is high,the business model is not clear,it can not quickly change the flow to money,and it also has difficulty in raising capital.Therefore,its development can not be sustained.One the other hand,since the new model is a risky investment,with many uncertain factors,it's a struggle for enterprises to survive.This paper will start from the operating mode,taking Chengdu ebox and GUDUOJIA for example,analyzing the problems,strengths and weaknesses of each model,then the reason of those problems,and eventually,giving solutions and advice.This paper will use the method of literature analysis,Comparative research method to study NPV,ROI,Payback period and other indicators,in order to provide investors with more reasonable investment advice.Through calculation,the Payback period of smart express box is 8.46 years,and service station is 4.07 years.The former has a high degree of science and technology,tending to be a small platform,so the Marginal cost is lower than the other one.The latter occupies a larger space,providing many types of other services.So the suggestion is that the main service of express be the smart express box,while express service station as a supplement and providing more services to meet consumers' demand.
