Research On The Sino-Israeli Science And Technology Cooperation

Since the "Belt and Road” initiativeissued,China has actively developed economic cooperation relationships with the relevant countries,and try to establish a new international platform.At present,China has implemented the innovation-driven development strategy,and vigorously promotes science diplomacy.Israel,as an important node in the "Belt and Road"initiative,enjoys a prosperous economy and is well known for its high-tech innovation.Israel is an important partner of China,too.In recent years,the relations between China and Israel have been rapidly developed.Bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy,trade,science and technology and culture has been deepened,especially in the science and technology domain.The science and technology cooperation has become an accelerator of bilateral relations.Now,China is in a critical period of economic transformation which needs for industrial upgradingand technological innovation.Sino-Israeli science and tecnology cooperation involves many fields such as agriculture,medicine,electronic communication,new energy,water treatment technology and so on.The cooperation with Israel can bring advanced technology into China,accelerate the upgrading of Chinese industry and absorb the successful experiences of Israel.So,it will enhance the ability of China's independent research.At present,exchange of high-level visits are frequent,and cultural and educational exchanges are dynamic,which have enhanced the mutual understanding and trust.The Sino-Israeli science and technology cooperation is inclining to institutionalization.In this paper,the author has analyzed cooperation situation comprehensively.Agricultural cooperation is the starting point of Sino-Israeli science and technology cooperation,which has made fruitful achievements.Industrial park,the bright spot of mutual cooperation,has promoted the industry cluster and joint innovation.Other cooperation is the further exploration to both sides.China and Israel will cooperate in more areas and enhance the level of bilateral relations.However,there are many difficulties and challenges in science and technology cooperation.Only by solving these problems can science and technology cooperation be able to move towards a higher level.China should seize the opportunity of "Belt and Road" strategy to strengthen bilateral scientific and technological exchanges,which will lead the innovative comprehensive partnership to a higher level.
