Zhoushan Iron Ore Distribution Center Development Countermeasure Research

At present,the bulk cargo transport,like ore sand,establishes Zhoushan's leading position in the east coast of China,and Zhoushan has become an important material reserve base and logistics node in our country.In order to better perform Zhoushan's port location and the special advantage of goods trans-shipments,this paper discusses the real value of establishing an iron ore distribution center in Zhoushan to further strengthen its position as China's major import iron ore port discharge,and improve the capability of service for the large number of ore traders and the steel mills.The distribution center can effectively reduce the steel industry logistics and transportation costs along the Yangtze River,and establish a convenient and efficient iron ore transport channel to improve the efficiency of iron ore transport.This paper mainly uses the literature research method,statistical method,gray Markov prediction theory and SWOT analysis to introduce the development countermeasures of Zhoushan iron ore distribution center.The literature research method is used to collect and sort out the relevant information,then conclude the status quo of iron ore distribution center construction and global iron ore supply at home and abroad.Besides,we also obtain the policy advantages,the location advantages and some shortcomings of building an iron ore distribution center in Zhoushan.The paper also analyzes the future development trend of iron ore and the demand of ore for iron and steel enterprises through the related data about iron ore from the professional website.Furthermore,We predict the throughput of iron ore in Zhoushan port by using the gray Markov prediction model,which can show the future trend of throughput of iron ore and provide scientific and rational distribution of the wharf and yard of iron ore in Zhoushan port.In order to grasp the accuracy in the development situation as well as the existing opportunities and challenges of Zhoushan iron ore business and provide a basis in building a distribution center,the paper analyzes the environmental conditions that will be faced in succeeding work by using SWOT approach.Finally,According to the necessity,current development situation and existing basicconditions of Zhoushan iron ore distribution center,this paper presents some suggestions for establishing Zhoushan iron ore distribution center such as improving the infrastructure construction,developing the iron ore port processing industry,constructing the trading platform,tightening the whole logistics system,increasing the support policies,enhancing the service capabilities and reinforcing the talent team construction.
