As an engine for economic development,entrepreneurship is not only able to maintain economic vitality and advantage of a country and a region,but also be able to create jobs and maintain social stability.However,the venture is also a high-risk activity.In order to reduce the rate of failure and maximize the positive effect of entrepreneurship,entrepreneurship support agencies had set up entrepreneurial mentor teams to give entrepreneur guidance.In mentoring practice,what is the role and function of mentor and mentoring for entrepreneurs?Can the mentoring style affect the function entrepreneurs received?Can the mentoring style affect entrepreneurs' satisfaction?On these questions,different subject from different angle will has different interpretation.Entrepreneurs are the beneficiaries and participants,so it will be quite useful to analyze mentoring style and function when from entrepreneurs' perspective,which will provide a solid theoretical basis to improve entrepreneurship mentoring quality.This research contents are:Analyze the relationship of mentoring style(support type and control type)and mentoring function(Career-related,psychological and role model);Analyze the relationship of mentoring style(support type and control type)and mentoring satisfaction;Analyze the relationship of mentoring function(Career-related,psychological and role model)and mentoring satisfaction.Based on the literature review and interviews,this study put mentoring style,mentoring function and satisfaction into the same framework and analyze the relationships among the them.Then,three variables measurement scale was designed and hypothesis of this study and theoretical models was put forward.This study used survey questionnaires for data collection by face to face,telephone and Web survey,and then 116 valid questionnaires were received.After empirical analysis,the research results are as follows:there is a positive relationship between the child dimension of mentoring style(support style and control type)and mentoring function(Career-related,psychological and role model);mentoring style both support style and control type can affect mentoring satisfaction;Career-related,psychological and role model function can both affect mentoring satisfaction;Entrepreneurial mentoring function plays a mediating role between mentoring style and mentoring satisfaction.Based on these findings,I presented a number of recommendations about promoting entrepreneurship mentoring quality.
