China’s rural tourism is still in an elementary stage at present,as the starting of it is late.Faced with lots of problems,the marketing in rural tourism is also in an exploring stage.With rich product materials and local distinctive Manchu culture,rural tourism in Xiuyan County has been developing fast in recent years.Based on a Mr.Li’s visit to Xiuyan County for tourism invited by the government of Xiuyan County,the thesis presents the study and the discussion on the marketing in rural tourism in Xiuyan County,and it also brings out some advice on the reform of marketing in rural tourism in Xiuyan County.It aims to instruct the scientific development of rural tourism,strengthen the competition in rural tourism and it also has theoretic and realistic meaning to achieve the sustainable development of tourism.Different means,such as local visit and investigation,history documents reference,the combination essence analysis and quantity analysis,are used in the thesis.The market of Xiuyan County is chosen as the research target.Combining the related theory in marketing with the reality of tourism market in Xiuyan County,the thesis studies the current situation of marketing and the causes of problems of tourism marketing in Xiuyan County.There are four parts in the thesis.The first part,introduction,states the background of this subject and the meaning of this study.Besides,it also includes the description of conception of this thesis and the process of collecting the cases.The second part,main body,is a statement on the thinking of a series of problems after the visit to Xiuyan County.It also contains the result of investigation in Xiuyan County and a data description of the current situation of tourism in Xiuyan County.The third part is case analysis.According to the related study in rural tourism marketing and the concrete analysis of rural tourism in Xiuyan County,the third part makes a conclusion on the problems existing in rural tourism in Xiuyan County and does detailed analysis.The forth part,based on the forming analysis of related problems,the advice on rural tourism marketing reform and the new inspiration about rural tourism marketing in China,it concludes that the marketing in rural tourism in Xiuyan County must achieve innovative reform,develop competitiveness and make efforts to become a famous rural tourism county in the world.
