Green Finance and Green Credit have attracted considerable attention by finance since G20 Summit last year.China has reached into an all-round development stage of Green Credit with the announcement of a series of documentation.However,most of our commercial banks nearly have interest in Green Credit due to the lack of proper reward and punishment system and Green Credit implementation performance evaluation system even though the scale of Green Credit is expanding year by year.Thus the establishment of Green Credit implementation performance system is of great importance.It not only can reflect the implementation performance of the banks,the attitude of commercial banks towards Green Credit,but also can provide reward and punishment reference for supervision department.The research intends to study the Green Credit implementation performance of commercial banks and explores relative evaluation system.This research is consisted of six chapters.The first chapter introduces the academic background and significance of the subject;literature review is given in this chapter as well.The second chapter elaborates the definition of Green Credit and the content and significance of Green Credit implementation performance.The third chapter compares current different evaluation methods and G1-Entropy Method is finally chosen for this research.The forth and fifth chapter introduce and analyze G1-Entropy Method;13 listed commercial banks including ICBC,BOC,CCB,CIB,etc.are chosen as sample for empirical analysis and ranking based on Green Credit implementation performance.Last but not least,the sixth chapter provides suggestions for the development of Green Credit in China from the aspects of commercial banks,social organizations and the public.
