The Impact Of High-Tech Industry Development On Population Urbanization

In recent years,with the rapid development of industrialization,the process of urbanization in our country has accelerated obviously.But there are also some problems,such as population urbanization lags behind land urbanization,and the development of urbanization lags behind industrialization,etc.And now,China is under the background that innovation drives the development of economy.We can see that the related effect of high-tech industry can drive the urban employment and promote the development of population urbanization more powerfully.Therefore,this paper studies the impact of high-tech industry on population urbanization,which is of great significance to promote the process of urbanization of our country.This paper first systematically combed the domestic and foreign literature about high-tech industry and population urbanization,then this paper expounds the mechanism of the development of high-tech industry to population urbanization with theoretical analysis.It is found that the high-tech industry can promote the urbanization process of the population through these three aspects: promoting population transferring to towns,increasing the elasticity of employment in cities and promoting the upgrading of industrial structure.Second,a brief analysis based on high-tech industry and population urbanization gives that due to the continuous expansion of high-tech industry and unbalanced regional development,the level of population urbanization increased year by year.And the effect which urban employment gives to population urbanization has become increasingly apparent.Third,use different methods to study the effect of high technology industry for employment in cities and towns,and establish the VAR model to investigate the high-tech industry as a whole,then found that high technology industry can drive the increase of the second and third industry employment;then using the gray correlation analysis method to find out the difference between the departments,it is found that the aviation spacecraft manufacturing industry has the most significant effect on employment in cities and towns;finally,by building panel regression model to estimate the urban employment multiplier effect of high-tech industry,it is concluded that high-tech industry of manufacturing and service industries in cities and towns have higher employment multiplier effect and can effectively drive the urban employment.Using fixed effect panel data model to do empirical research in the whole country and each region,it is found that the development of high-tech industry in the whole country and each region has obvious effect on population urbanization,and the eastern region has the most significant effect;the employment of urban areas is most obvious in the central region of rapid development;due to the different stages of population urbanization in different regions,the interaction between urban employment and the development level of high-tech industry is the most significant in the central region,followed by the western region and the eastern region.The industrial structure and the level of economic development have a greater impact on population urbanization,in addition,high illiteracy rates of population and the excessive income gap between urban and rural areas were not favorable to the development of population urbanization.Finally,on the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,the main conclusions of this paper are summarized.And the basic ideas of promoting the development of population urbanization are put forward from three angles which contain the positive development of manufacturing industry and service industry,the rational planning of the layout of high-tech industry,and the strengthening of regional exchanges and cooperation.
