A Study On The Factors Affecting The Accumulation Of Innovative Ability In Western Equipment Manufacturing Industry

The results of the past scientific and technological revolution are all created through the equipment manufacturing industry,the level of development of equipment manufacturing industry to a certain extent determines the level of development of China's manufacturing industry.As one of the three production bases of equipment manufacturing industry in China,the ratio of input and output,the level of innovation ability and the comprehensive benefit are all of great significance to the development of China's economy.Technological progress is undoubtedly the source of long-term growth of the whole social economy.China,as the largest developing country,faces the challenge of technological progress path selection.And the results of the accumulation of innovation can measure what kind of technological progress path of the greatest contribution.Therefore,it is necessary to study the choice of technological progress path of western equipment manufacturing industry and to study the innovation ability of western equipment manufacturing industry.In the first part of this paper,through the research background,significance and related literature,this paper puts forward the research plan of the influence of technological progress path selection on the accumulation capacity of western equipment manufacturing industry.The second part of the combing of the relevant theory for this article to solve the problem laid a theoretical basis.The third part of the first part of the western equipment manufacturing industry provinces and cities to analyze the status;and then from independent research and development,the introduction of foreign technology,domestic technology to buy and foreign direct investment in these areas,the western equipment manufacturing industry technological progress analysis;Manufacturing technological progress to measure.In the fourth part,the Schumpeter model is applied to the practical problems of this paper.The fifth part uses the panel data of the equipment manufacturing industry in the western region from 2005 to 2015,and analyzes the impact of the western equipment manufacturing industry's independent research and development,the introduction of foreign technology,the purchase of domestic technology,the foreign direct investment and the imitation innovation.By means of mean regression and quantile regression,empirical research and result analysis were carried out from the perspective of different sub-industries of western equipment manufacturing industry and different provinces and cities in western equipment manufacturing industry.The sixth part puts forward some suggestions on the basis of the main conclusions of this paper.The empirical results show that the main way of innovation capacity accumulation is from foreign direct investment and its ability to imitate innovation and digestion and absorption,whether it is from sub-industry of equipment manufacturing industry or from different provinces and cities.To increase the participation of scientific and technological personnel involved in R & D activities To a certain extent,can also promote the accumulation of innovation capacity;although the western region is relatively backward,but the appropriate R & D spending on the accumulation of innovation has a certain contribution to the introduction of foreign technology,the influencing factors,whether it is itself It is based on the imitation of innovation are not on the accumulation of innovation to contribute.To put forward the following policy recommendations for the conclusion: to prevent the "introduction of technology into the path dependence" trap;make full use of foreign direct investment and on this basis to imitate innovation and digestion and absorption capacity;the introduction of talent to promote the development of the western region.FDI(Foreign direct investment)Imitate innovation.
