Study On The Optimization Of Inventory Management Of Automobile Parts In RDC Of FAW

With the rapid development of proprietary Chinese car companies,automobile products consumption has shifted from the luxury to consumer goods.In the automotive industry,the inventory is an important part of modern logistics.As a kind of special storage categories,automobile spare parts inventory has distinct characteristics,drawing more and more attention of the car and logistics industry.Serving as an important link of procurement and production,research and development and sales,the inventory is the core of logistics management,directly affecting the speed of capital turnover and a series of other problems.Automobile spare parts inventory management occupies an important position in the research and development department of enterprise management.Inventory Management is one of the important means to reduce operating costs of enterprises.Complete vehicle enterprises ask for an increasing demand for the quality and service of relevant parts in automobile enterprise,leading to the increasingly fierce competition among auto part enterprises.The targets of reducing inventory cost,optimizing inventory levels,and improving business efficiency can only be met by combining with enterprise reality to find suitable inventory management method.Combining the characteristics of the automobile industry supply chain,the paper makes a study and discussion with regard to inventory management of auto parts in R&D by the FAW technology center,using the basic theory and tools of process optimization,ECRS analysis method and the Microsoft Office Visio drawing tools to find out the problems existing in the Inventory Management of FAW technology center.Furthermore,systematic analysis is made into the causes of the problem,and optimization design is conducted on the management model,field management and entry and discharge management process.Thus,a reasonable solution is obtained and safeguards are formulated.Specifically,this paper first introduces basic theories and tools related to inventory management,joint inventory,centralized procurement and process optimization,describes the present situation and problems of inventory management of FAW technology center,finds out the cause of the problem and makes relevant analysis.Through the basic process optimization and analysis method of ECRS,and by means of words and Microsoft Office Visio drawing tools,optimization is made on the current inventory management mode,site management and entry and discharge management of FAW technology center.Then process analysis is produced to identify generic issues and key control points of process,with optimization made respectively in the purchase order issuing,supplier resources sorting,field management,entry and discharge process.Combine with the existing cost control & asset management systems.With regard to several prominent issues including small purchasing quantity and high frequency,adopt specification standards of auto parts,adjust the order quantity and time,and improve order prediction technology measures with the purpose of centralized procurement and quality efficiency.As for repetition and redundancy phenomenon in approval and review process,adjust organization structure,simplify the approval process measures to achieve the purpose of improving the efficiency of research and development.Regarding the existing problem of entry,discharge and site management,standardize the management and implement the jointly managed inventory method measures to guarantee the inventory control within a reasonable range.Build strategic partnership with FAW technology center platform suppliers,enhance the staff's consciousness of the enterprise Inventory Management,strengthen the Supplier Inventory Management,set up the company Inventory Management appraisal system,improve the company's organizational structure,and increase the company information management level,other measures to ensure the smooth implementation of improved scheme,and improve employees' satisfaction,finally improving the management of product R&D in FAW technology center.
