Today,most of China’s manufacturing enterprises are faced with product technology update fast,high quality requirements,short delivery cycle,low production costs of individual customer needs,how to improve the production of research to meet the needs of the market,still relatively weak.The Enterprises generally exist in the production site management is not standardized,production logistics is not economic,facilities layout unreasonable phenomenon.It not only caused the production process of waste increased,lower production efficiency,but also increased the logistics costs and product quality and safety risks.Therefore,by using the theory and method of continuous improvement,strengthen the rational allocation of each element of production site,reduce material handling cross circuitous route,eventually establish a set of scientific facilities layout plan,realize the maximization of the production system efficiency is of great significance.In this paper,facility layout improvement based on the machining workshop as the research object,comprehensive use of 5S management、basic industrial engineerings facilities planning and other aspects of the relevant theory,on the production site,process flow,facilities layout and logistics problems,a detailed analysis was carried out and the corresponding improvement program were put forward,the scheme is divided into two aspects:qualitative and quantitative.First of all,this paper introduces the background,purpose and significance of the thesi s,as well as the research content and framework.Secondly,it focuses on the status quo of t he production site,the process flow and the facility layout of the machine shop,and finds o ut the practical problems of each link.Then,in terms of qualitative,5S management impo rt,start and implementation of the three main stages,detailing the 5S management in the p roduction site to use,and the implementation of 5S management to achieve the results;in terms of quantitative,using the 5W1H questioning technology on the part Component processing technology to optimize the improvement,and through the use of job-related graph method and system layout design methods,the design and implementation of facilities layout improvement program was carried out.Finally,using chart to illustrate the way,the effect of improvement before and after improvement of facility layout is analyzed,confirmed the feasibility of the improvement program.
