In the fifth meeting of the 12th national people's congress,our country examined the implementation of the national budget of People's Republic of China for 2016 and the draft national budget for 2017.As known from the draft,China planned to use one trillion and forty-four billion three hundred and ninety-seven million RMB as defense budget.It's the first time of China military budget exceeding trillion,the whole budget grows 7%compared with 2016.It's a new step for China's national defense strength that defense budget exceeded 100 billion since 1999,and breaking through trillion until now,the coordinated development of national defense construction and economic construction has entered a new stage.The growing of the national defense budget is promoting the development of military industry,especially in recent years,the military and civilian integration which encouraged by government is improving the enthusiasm of the private military enterprise development.The company Y as one of the private military enterprises gets market share by strengthening technology and market advantages,and has got a better development under the encourage of the national policy in several years.It also brings some problems within the expansion of the scale,The company Y faces the external opportunities and internal inventory management challenges,one side,the company Y has a high material inventory and a low inventory turnover in order to meet customer needs,another side,the project material on time delivery rate is low.Generally speaking,the materials which hold are not needed usually.In this paper,the author first discovered the problems,and then analyzed the internal and external environmental conditions,and finally put forward the logical structure of the improvement measures,and summarized the improvement effect,and put forward the prospect.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the background of the military industry,and the research purpose,and the research methods and framework.The second chapter is the general situation and inventory management status of the company Y.The third chapter is the countermeasures and proposals to solve the problem of inventory control in the company Y,based on the optimization and depth application of the information system,and the adjustment of internal and external management measures,to enhance the level of inventory management.The fourth chapter is the summary of the control effect,and some practical results of the measures.The fifth chapter is the summary and outlook,although the inventory management has made some achievements,but the problem is not completely solved,so the paper puts forward some plans,in order to ultimately solve the problem of inventory management.The author has worked several years in the company Y,personally participated in ERP system research,implementation and two depth development and application,witnessed the rapid development and the inventory management problems which the company Y encountered in recent years.The author has completed this article by consulting a large number of literatures,and applying the theoretical knowledge.This article pays great attention to that the point of view can be applied in practice,and uses most data comes from company Y.
