Garment production site is labor-intensive area.In the garment production process,enhancing product value mainly lies on the front-line employee absolute working ability,which leads the garment manufacturing enterprises have a high dependence on the front-line employee skills.And with the continuous increasing of the domestic labor costs recently,garment production front-line employee turnover rate is increasing,all of these increased the difficulty for the garment production management.Therefore,it is an indispensable part of the garment production management to evaluate the skills of front-line staff.Combined with the actual production situation,this paper divided the employee skills into three parts: skill width,skill depth and skill sag,based on the current status of the research.Among them skill width represented the type and quantity of procedure and equipment that employee have done or will do;skill depth indicated the skill level of the employee and skill sag showed the stability of the employee's skill in the actual operation.The evaluation of above three mainly depended on a large amount of production data from the enterprise.The thesis studied and analyszed historical production data of the sewing workers in the garment production enterprises collected by the RFID system.Then presented the method to determine the coefficient of lot size and fabric coefficient based on a large number of historical production data and revised enterprise standard hours in order to guarantee the accuracy and rationality of skill evalution of front-line staff.In the study we took the steps as follow: Firstly,the data must be processed,selected and fit curve,thenevaluating staff based on the coefficient of lot size and fabric coefficient.Secondly,we divided staff into two categories of new staff and older's,then we provided the evaluation methods of skill depth and skill sag to them respectively and calculated single process skills.Thirdly,we intergrated and gathered the history data of enterprise and obtained employee skills width.Then we established the employee skills database and updated the database of the employee skills in real-time according to the latest production of the enterprise.Above all Combined with the experience of the first line managers could put a more reasonable and accurate staff skill evaluation method.Scientific evaluation method of employee skills combined with enterprise intelligent management system can make the managers of the enterprise production site accurately master the skill level and working state of employees,then they can make a more accurate prediction of the actual production situation,thus they can layout and simulation assembly line better and relize lean production.In addition,the scientific evaluation of employee skills can also provide a reasonable basis for staff training,wage adjustment,planning and so on.
