With the deepening of economic globalization, China plays an important role inthe world as a manufacturing giant. One of the reasons is that China has rich humanresource. However, many enterprises take an unreasonable advantage of humanresource in China, which often leads to half the results with double the effort. This paper first reviews large number of related literatures, and finds that manyscholars have conducted research on employees scheduling. It has been severaldecades since the earliest research on learning and forgetting effect. Today employeeshave caught more and more attention as a resource of a company. Considering of thisbackground, this paper presents a study of employees scheduling model based onlearning and forgetting effect and makes an analysis of that.Assume that a manufacturing company needs to make employees assignments formultiple stages after receiving orders for production planning. Employees involved inthe production process will increase the score of their skill, and their skill scores willdecline after discontinuation. Based on this phenomenon, this paper establishes amulti-stage dynamic programming model, which aims to achieve the maximum of theincreasment of the skill scores and the minimum of the payment for all employees afterthe completion of the entire order.Firstly, this paper establishes a model based on the learning and forgetting curveand makes preliminary analysis; Secondly, a model based on a fixed percentage oflearning and forgetting for contrast is established. Thereafter, the learning andforgetting curve is extended to a model based on multi-task. Finally an example isoffered to solve the model with genetic algorithm, which shows that the model iseffective and feasible.
