Research On Transformation And Upgrading Of Overseas Economic Cooperation Companies

As the growth rate of China’s economic is slowing down,and the domestic market is also stagnant,although global construction market prospect is very broad,the competition between enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce.Firstly,more construction enterprises outside of China come into global construction market.Secondly,the domestic construction enterprises,design companies and manufacturing enterprises start to enter global construction market caused by the implementation of the policy for many years and China’s new normal economy.Many Chinese enterprises use sharp prices to obtain construction project,which caused malignant competition and no profits for enterprises.N company is the first overseas economic cooperation companies in China and successfully accomplished many oversea projects in EPC from 1980’s.But N the company’s EPC business is reducing,this thesis makes a content analysis of what strategy is N company’s best method to transformation and upgrading in the face of the complex overseas construction market.The thesis analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of N company using the case method and the SWOT analysis method,then obtain a method of transformation and upgrading for N company.The thesis introduces SWOT analysis method in detail and compares N company with best global construction enterprises in investment business.Then the thesis studies N company first investment projects through analyzing the indicators of the project and building the project financial analysis model,it is concluded that N company participating investment project is a feasible transformation and upgrading method.Finally it is concluded that the effective method of N company’s transformation and upgrading is project investment business through N company project.The above method could be a reference program for the other overseas economic cooperation companies.
