Since twenty-first century,the Asia Pacific region has become the most dynamic areas of global economic development.Mongolia,as China's neighbor,with frequent visits of the top leaders from both countries in recent years,ties closer with China in economic and trade.China has become Mongolia's largest trading partner and investor.The demand to mineral resources grows rapidly due to the economic development in China,and the imports of ores from Mongolia increase dramatically.Thus,Mongolian mineral industry ushers in a great development period,and its demand to electricity raises rapidly.In order to implement the national strategy of "One Belt,One Road",to ensure the success of power infrastructure investment and grid operation in Mongolia by Inner Mongolia Power Cooperation Co.,Ltd.,to obtain mutual interest,and to benefit Mongolian people,it is necessary to make a thorough study on the power market and relevant policies and laws in Mongolia,and to make a systemic,scientific and long-term power development strategy.This thesis is based on the characteristics analysis and development strategies of the power market in southern Mongolia,and the following studies are carried out:(1)Analysis to the electricity market environment in southern Mongolia.Statements are made in the aspects of southern Mongolia power market status,natural environment,economic environment,political environment,legal environment,and social environment.(2)Analysis to the internal and external environment of Mongolian power market development by Inner Mongolian Power International Cooperation Co.,Ltd.with use of SWOT.Explanation is given to the advantages and disadvantages of the company in Mongolia power market development,and the existing problems and risks.Six issues are pointed out,which are,insufficient attention on Mongolian power market development,deficiency in scientific and systemic development strategy,lack of foreign investment experiences and blindness in investment abroad,constraints of SOE mechanism for going out,short of the related professionals,and the negative impact of cultural difference.(3)With respect of the problems above,game theory is used to analyze the strategies of both Chinese and Mongolian sides adopted in southern Mongolian power market development,and the overall target of the enterprise in developmentof southern Mongolia power market is put forward.Statements are made in-depth from six aspects,which are,channel marketing strategy for improving market development,promotion innovation strategy for giving impetus to market development,price dispersion strategy for expanding market development,customer-oriented strategy for advancing market development,performance assessment strategy for stimulating market development,image-building strategy for enhancing market development.With the deepening of marketization and the fierce competition between enterprises,nowadays,enterprises have strongly realized the conspicuous role of marketing strategy in business development.Hope the study of this paper may give some instructions and references to the going-out Chinese enterprises in making their strategic plans,and to implement the “one belt,one road” strategy.
